These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase of products from Beyond The Teardrop through our website beyondtheteardrop.com. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. About Us

Beyond The Teardrop is a Sri Lankan wildlife photography coffee table book project. Our website is operated from Sri Lanka. For any enquiries, you may contact us at [email protected].

2. Products

"Beyond The Teardrop" is a premium coffee table book featuring wildlife photography from Sri Lanka. Product images and descriptions on our website are provided as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour may occur between the images displayed on screen and the physical printed product due to differences in display settings and printing processes.

3. Pricing & Currency

All prices on our website are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR):

• Book price: Rs. 19,500 per copy
• Islandwide delivery: Rs. 1,000 per book
• Pickup: Free of charge

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, once an order has been confirmed and payment has been processed, the price at the time of purchase will be honoured. No additional surcharges are applied for using any particular payment method.

4. Orders & Payment

Orders are placed through the order form on our website. All payments are processed securely through OnePay, a payment gateway operated by Spemai (PVT) Ltd, a company registered in Sri Lanka, governed by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, and ISO 27001 certified. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation to the email address you provided. All orders are subject to availability.

5. Pre-Orders

When pre-order mode is active on our website, your order will be queued for fulfilment after the official book launch date. Estimated delivery timelines for pre-orders will be communicated to you via email. Pre-order payments are processed at the time of placing the order.

6. Delivery

• Pickup: Available free of charge at a designated location. Details will be communicated via email after your order is confirmed.
• Islandwide Delivery: We deliver within Sri Lanka. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the estimated timeframe.

Risk of loss or damage to the product passes to you upon delivery or pickup. Please inspect your order upon receipt.

7. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of the product (a printed book), we operate a limited returns policy:

• Returns are accepted only for items that arrive damaged or defective.
• You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing [email protected] with photographic evidence of the damage or defect.
• Upon verification, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund to your original payment method through OnePay.
• We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect orders placed by the customer, or minor colour variations inherent to the printing process.

8. Intellectual Property

All photographs, text, design, and other content in the book "Beyond The Teardrop" and on this website are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. No part of the book or website content may be reproduced, distributed, or used in any form without prior written permission from the copyright holders.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beyond The Teardrop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or purchase of our products. Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website and placement of orders after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
